GPS tracking device customers experienced service delays that were caused by a GSM network outage of Vodafone Netherlands.
Vodafone Netherlands said its network experienced a disruption in the night of 3 to 4 September as per the following press release. As a result, GPS tracking devices were not able to use any roaming services. It is not known yet what is causing the problem.
Vodafone said on its website that it was aware of the outage and that it was working hard to resolve it. The company initially said early this morning that the problems had been resolved but this turned out not to be the case.
The problems have been solved by afternoon, 2 pm (GMT +2).
